Okay, I can reply to this question myself right now :-)

When you go to the change that you want to change, or the last of the
commit series, look at the Patch Set - Download section will tell you
how to get the commit(s) into your local machine. This will look like:

git fetch http://openocd.zylin.com/openocd refs/changes/52/1052/6 &&
git checkout FETCH_HEAD

It is important to fetch all commits if there was a series of commits
sent, then rebase -i selected commit, then push again.
