Is that 2-wire mode the same one that the JTAG folk have been working with, or is it specific to Microchip? Do you know? Nexus, for example, has both 2-wire and 4-wire/JTAG flavors. Eventually one might expect OpenOCD to support that standard 2-wire interface.
