thank you very much for the contribution! I haven't looked at the code
yet, hoping to get a chance to do so within the week.
Having a depth peeling implementation (or other OIT technique for that
matter) is something I wanted to have in OpenSG for a long time, but it
never quite managed to make it to the top of the todo list :(

yea, it's my pet peeve with shaders in libraries: certain features can
not be provided in a non-intrusive way, user-written shaders have to be
aware of them.

Could you give us an idea what hardware generation or OpenGL extensions
are required?
