Give the dailybuild a try. We're generally pretty stable and backwards
compatible, unlike some other Open Source systems. If we do break things
we warn people beforehand, and usually make a quick release.

The way things are set up here at our place, it's a bit of a procedure
to update the OpenSG version used for all of us, so it would make more
sense to do it semi-regurarly, depending on what deadlines we have &
what new features are introduced.
Using the dailybuild is a bit too much on the edge, and the
'official'-releases are a bit too far apart, at least w.r.t bug fixes
and such (however I can understand the reluctance of keeping separate
branches for bugfixes (v1.4.2, etc) and new features (1.5.0.b2), as that
adds some overhead to development).
Just my 0.02€ of course. You're all really doing a great job!
