Hi Steve, What is the expectation of OPENSSLDIR when building the FIPS Object Module and FIPS Capable OpenSSL?
Users are usually allowed to modify the environment (within reason). Do users expect that OPENSSLDIR will be honored and 'properly' wired into --openssldir when configuring the FIPS gear? The User Guide 2.0 does not address the question.
