Hi, I had a similar problem with PNG textures but was solved after getting a hint from this thread: [forum openscenegraph org / viewtopic.php ? t=6563] (Cannot link URL due to the forum rule. It is my first post.)
Its about dependency of missing dlls. I copied over the libpng.dll to where my application.exe resides, and it worked. I think osgPlugin for PNG depends upon this dll. And it seems true for tiffs and gifs, too. Thank you!
