Paul, on your developers system, what version is your release of the
product? It seems that to incorporate it onto my new system, which is
Slackware 13.1, I need to build it from source code because the people
who normally do that on a site that's normally hosting those packages
stopped doing so around version 10.1.

That version which is binary compatible with 12.0 and 12.1, and 12.2,
certainly isn't for 13.0 and 13.1. I decided to go ahead with that one
because it sorts out properly some issues regarding how the kernel
boots. And supposedly everything else.

Oh and where are you getting it from? (If its still Suse it would be
interesting because I don't think its part of their base distribution.
If its FC then it gets even stranger.)
