Raspberry Pi using DS2483 Single Channel 1-wire master via I2C I start OWFS with "/usr/bin/owfs --i2c=/dev/i2c-1:0 --allow_other /mnt/1wire" after a while OWFS has created between 0 and 4 directories in /mnt/1wire: bus.0, bus.1, bus.2, and sometimes bus.4. If bus.1, 2 or 4 are created and populated they have the same info as is contained in bus.0 and there are multiple directories with the same device name in /mnt/1wire.
I have a program that monitors the number of devices (DS18B20) and it fluctuates and sometimes is zero (0) for extended periods of time. The 1wire pull up is 3K but the same behavior occured at 4.7K. The DS2483 is using the 3.3V SDA, SCL lines from the RPi and driving the 1wire bus with 5V. Is this correct behavior? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Own the Future-Intel(R) Level Up Game Demo Contest 2013 Rise to greatness in Intel's independent game demo contest.
