Hi Kiran,
If you are not dealing with very large files,
you already have a sound editor on your Windows machine.
If you are just looking to delete portions of a wav file, Sound Recorder
will do this nicely.
There is a size limit of about 76mb with sound recorder.
If your files are smaller than that then you are in business.
You can find it by going to the start menu, then programs, then accessories,
then entertainment.

Subject: Simple program for editing wave files

Hi all,

I am looking for a simple freeware/shareware application that will enable me
edit a few wave files. I just want to be able to select portions of the
audio and delete it. I tried GoldWave but it seems a little confusing to set
the markers.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kiran Kaja
