All I can say is that if you judge a product on older hardware then you're 
going to miss out on a hell of a lot, its not a matter of how old the hardware 
is in a lot of cases, its a question of how well that hardware is used, how 
often the firmware that controls the hardware is updated and so on.

Yes, the hardware is old, yes I know my Boivesense is 5 years old but it does 
keep up with many of today's standards and that's the important thing.

I know people who have Mountbattin Braille Writers, these machines are 
approaching they're 25th birthday in some cases and they still are used by 
people to emboss Braille with today's Windows machines, are you suggesting 
therefore that just because the hardware's old that these machines are "Not 
Good enough"? I think not, those machines - if well maintained - will be around 
and usable for years to come because of design factors etc,.
