A curiosity: SMC Pentax-D

Hi all,

Never heard of it before: an SMC Pentax-D 1:2 12,5-63mm. See  
<http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7536360195&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1>.

It's Autofocus and Powerzoom with a 2/3" bayonet mount. Which seems to  
have a register distance of 48mm, so you can 'easily' make an adapter for  
your *ist-D. Might vignette a bit at the wide end, though :-)

Does anyone know whether this is a one-off, or are there more SMC Pentax-D  
lenses?
