Yes, and it is digital. But $5000 or so? Ouch!! If you really need a digital rangefinder and have the money, OK. but there are lots of other possibilities. Most obvious is a second M6 body for b&w, leavin you with lots of money for lenses etc. > The RD-1 I'm not so sure about--it seems to have had some QC issues, > plus frankly, I think it is less bang for the buck than the M8. Same thing I've heard. What about Voigtlander bodies? See cameraquest.com for lots of info including US prices. I think the Bessa R, screw mount with TTL meter is $250 or so. New R4A with aperature priority auto mode and 21/24/.../50 framelines in under $700. Several others in between. At those prices, you can have one body for every lens you own plus a new lens or two, and bodies for them, and still not spend $5000. Alternately, Doctor Yao in Hong Kong ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) still has new Konica Hexar RF -- M mount with built-in motor drive -- including 50 F2 lens for under $1300. That and a Voigtlander 35/1.2 are what I'd buy if I had $5000 to spend on rangefinder equipment. -- Sandy Harris Quanzhou, Fujian, China -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
