I've been trying to see just how difficult it would be to handhold the big "bling lens" (FA 250-600/5.6) and it actually isn't as difficult as I had imagined. I managed to capture this GBH in flight with it and the K10D. SR seems to help quite a bit (as does decent light):

I'm still using the original firmware so I 'm not sure if that makes any difference. Comments & critique welcome as always.
