Bob ========= I did hospice with my Mom. The die at home thing. Hospices hand out morphine pretty freely. So this former attitude has changed quite a bit. At least through the hospice system. I was relieved to find that out anyway, or I wouldn't have even considered hospice. Yes, you are supposed to give the dosage the doctor recommends, but, OTOH, you have the whole dang bottle. I stuck to the recommended dosage, but really I wouldn't have had to. Hospice patients also "slide" pretty much through autopsies.
