Unlikely. There are about 600 varieties of Eucalyptus, but koalas eat only a small number of these. Each koala usually eats mainly one or two species that are native to its locality. Rainbow Eucalyptus, *Eucalyptus deglupta , *is native to the northern hemisphere.
