I know. I am a Canadian temporarily living in the US, and hate UPS (and
despise their "brokerage" fees). It is just that, having dealt with sending
things by US Postal Parcel service, you can see why a vendor would prefer to
use UPS, just because of the time saved on the shipping side. When I return
to Canada I will not deal with a vendor who does not offer a non-UPS
shipping option, for the reasons described.
