The knowledge necessary to do it is still a requirement. Have you actually seen the chip itself? It may have no numbers on it at all. And, then, you may not be able to buy a programmer. Perhaps it would be easier to seek a way to bypass it.

these are not generic chip programmers. they are specifically designed to
reprogram Epson 1270 printer ink cartridges to report that they are full.
