I would be really great to have this package on PEAR I already hosting a pear style version of this package on my pear server at pear.sharedlog.com, just because the PEL is a dependency for my own packages.
But it would be much better if it was maintained on official pear server. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Lars Olesen Sent: Friday, April 18, 2008 4:41 AM To: pel-devel@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Maintainer Hi Martin, If you still havent found a new maintainer, I would be interested in taking over the project. I have a real use for parsing EXIF data. However, extending EXIF with the capability to read and write IPTC data would be pretty high on my wishlist. I would make it possible to install PEL using PEAR from a PEAR channel. However, I also think that the project might be a good fit with PEAR with a few rewrites. Would that be an idea or are you opposed to that? If you are not opposed I could go ahead and write up a proposal. -- Lars Olesen ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event.
