It would also be really really hard to calculate. There are enough imputations already in the NIPAs (take a look at <http://bea.gov/bea/dn/nipaweb/TableView.asp?SelectedTable=299&FirstYear=2002&LastYear=2003&Freq=Year> for a list). Something like the GPI would make this effort look like physics.
