In the past I have tried various tools to profile Win32::GUI applications and 
I've always been disappointed with the results...
...but I have been impressed with Devel::NYTProf:

Devel::NYTProf exists as a PPM for both 5.10 and 5.8, but don't use that 
version (it just crashes). Download the latest version from cpan:
