Just use PPM to install modules. It's quite easy and painless. You can even
configure it to work through a firewall.

Subject: [perl-win32-gui] Compiling the module

Hi,

Could anybody help me in compiling Perl and Win32-GUI?

I discovered ActivePerl lacks many other modules I need, so I'll have
to compile perl myself. I'm quite new to compiling stuff.
Which compiler works hassle free?
Does anybody have a makefile they use?

I have mingw32 installed, and I guess I could get the free Borland one
if that works.
I have MSVC 5.0 on a CD, but I've never used it. (Had it supplied to me
for a non-programming job once.)

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Marcus Friedlaender
