The answer you need is covered in the FAQ. PLA needs anonymous access to
the schema, and if it doesnt the message you are getting is a symptom of
that.

The FAQ provides a way of testing that you do have that set correctly
(outside of PLA) and an example of how to fix it for openldap. If you
dont know how to setup anonymous schema access for your LDAP server, you
need to contact the support forums for your LDAP server (if nobody here
knows the answer).
