No problem, just needed to get the same functionality working in
v1.2.0.5...

I have set the following (related) directives...
(values substituted)

$servers->setValue('login','auth_type','session');
$servers->setValue('login','bind_id','<proxy_login>');
$servers->setValue('login','bind_pass','<proxy_pass>');
$servers->setValue('login','attr','uid');
$servers->setValue('login','base',array('ou=users,o=example'));

( Funny that the value of bind_id is displayed in the PLA login box, but
not the issue at this point. )

When I try to login with only my uid, I get the following....

Unable to connect to LDAP server Production LDAP
Error: Invalid DN syntax (34) for user

Failed to Authenticate to server
Invalid Username or Password.

If I type in my full dn, it lets me in no problem.

I figured I've looked at it so much I'm probably missing something
simple.

Thanks for any help..

Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval
Try the new software tools for yourself. Speed compiling, find bugs
proactively, and fine-tune applications for parallel performance.
See why Intel Parallel Studio got high marks during beta.
