Could you compile extra/image-info.cpp and run it on some of the
groundpieces and mail me the output?
$ build/extra/image-info data/images/groundpieces/transparent/snow/
grass5.png
data/images/groundpieces/transparent/snow/grass5.png: palette colorkey
bitsPerPixel:8 bytesPerPixel:1
Using the updated sources I now get the following (32bit intel, OS X
10.5 "Leopard"):
$ build/extra/image-info data/images/groundpieces/transparent/snow/
grass5.png
data/images/groundpieces/transparent/snow/grass5.png: bitsPerPixel:32
bytesPerPixel:4
If I open the same file using GraphicConverter [1] It also tells me
that the file is indexed 8bit. Which version if libpng are you using?
`otool -L` tells me pingus references libpng14.14.dylib. (is 1.4.8
from macports)
