John, I know a pinholer here in Montreal who actually diggs the ground to get his pinhole almost flush with the ground. Wild images he gets with his Leornado. Of course, he protects it so that the soil does not damage it too much. This is perhaps something you could try. Digging in the pebbles and having your pinhole right down there. Guy
