While I agree that you can't get more secure than listening to only the
Unix domain sockets, I need to listen to TCP because the other Linux boxes
(growing veery slowly) with X in the network are set to use this as the
font server. It's the only box that's always on, and always running Linux,
so it's the only candidate for a centralized font server (and that can't
be a bad thing).

I would rather not listen to TCP, but I don't think you can connect to
Unix domain sockets over the network. (Or can you?) :)
