I got myself into a slightly deeper impasse with this.  Out of
curiosity, I set the processor type to x86.  Now I can't even access the
preferences to set it back to M1.  Removing the plugin and re-installing
it (from the plugins manager page) does not help.  There must be a
configuration file left behind when the plugin is removed by the plugins
manager, and of course I don't know where to find it.
