For those of you running SqueezeCenter on a different machine to muso, it appears that you have to :
(1) make sure port 9092 (or whatever your port is set to) is open on the server, (2) unbind the database so that other machines can access it. It probably needs some experts on here to verify this is 100% safe, but I have found some guidelines which suggests that you edit the server.prefs file and change the bindAddress parameter to 0.0.0.0 (from 127.0.0.1), reboot squeezecenter, and then give the import in muso a go. The server.prefs file is in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SqueezeCenter\prefs. I'm not sure of the dangers of leaving this setting like this if you intend to synchronise with squeezecenter regularly, again experts on here will hopefully advise, but to undo this change you just have to change it back to 127.0.0.1 and reboot squeezecenter again. -- jezbo ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57629 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
