TV apology for Jewish caricature
New York - The Nickelodeon television network has apologised to a Jewish
body for using a Jewish caricature in its Rugrats comic strip.
The Anti-Defamation League said the comic's Grandpa Boris Character, drawn
with a large hook nose and heavy-lidded eyes, resembled Nazi-era depictions
of Jews.
The president of Nickelodeon promised not to use the character again.
