FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SHALOM -- An Evening of the most beautiful Yiddish songs from Eastern Europe. Jewish artists from Poland to perform in the Bay Area. An outstanding artistic program by Jewish performers visiting from Poland will be presented by the Polish American Congress, Northern California Division, a nonprofit organization, in cooperation with the Albert Schultz Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto. The program, titled SHALOM, is a recital of the most popular Yiddish songs in a new musical form. There will be introductions to the songs in English. We learned about the opportunity of hosting such an event very late, and we therefore urge the Media to help to announce it so that as many people as possible can attend.
