yes, I know, and yes, sometimes you have to have newer versions of something in your non-current system, for reasons outside of OpenBSD (of course). I'd rather attempt a backport than throwing away all that porting knowledge and compile straight from source. That's what I did, and that's what broke. Best, --Toni++
