Tsione: Right. I thought we could tie the speaker together for a SRC re-hearing on ending the exclusive contract with Coke, but the way it seems to be going (SRC is going to meet May 6th, way way too late http://mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00117.html ) that won't work out.
This is the deal: we have $500 for you. [insert one or two paragraph biography here] I will speak at Macalester College, on Tuesday May 3rd at 11:50am in the Campus Center to a group of 30 students about the abuses Coke has made in Colombia and hold an intensive group organizing training. (something that may look like a lot of work) My honorarium is $500." Pick a date+time when this person will speak. Tuesday 4;30pm is not good. (it's Harambee) Maybe Tuesday 6:00pm, 11:50am, 8:00pm etc. Monday will be really hard. Have the speaker fax the statement to 651-696-6447 ATTN: "Adelante! and PIPE (Mattie White)" between today and Monday early morning. If he could email a copy to [EMAIL PROTECTED] that would be great. Then Adelante's got to try to get the reallocation approved before Tuesday. We'll take care of reserving rooms etc. Let me know if you have questions.
