That's not true. There's
pa_context_suspend_{sink|source}_by_{name|index}().

Which is used by pasuspender and pactl.


Just to confirm, would it be trivial to have ex. pajackconnect which could be called when jack is started which suspended the existing sink/source and unloaded them and inserted module-jack-sink and module-jack-source?
