I don't even remember the last time a kernel was shipped with a working
version of pwc... There always seems to be a problem that forces users to
compile the module. This really pisses me off.
I don't know about 'works', but the pwc that comes with Debian Sid
kernel works as well as the snapsnots that I've tried. That is, my cam
works with effectv, pmcam, and a couple others of the 'basic' apps, but
not Kopete or gyach-advanced. *shrug*
