This is what I have been trying to get people to understand...
We are too reliant on sites run and maintained by one individual - a
long term approach is required to ensure that domain names, hosting and
maintenance are retained in the long term without expecting a single
over-worked individual (who may have family or health issues for
example) to drop everything and get sites up and running, tackle
spammers and other website attacks etc...
There has been some interest in people creating mirrors of sites, but in
my opinion this is not the long term solution we require.
If you need an example of how things can go dramatically wrong, you just
have to look at the mess surrounding the ZX Vega+ and Retro Computers
Limited (RCL), where they have domain names (and Indiegogo campaigns)
owned by former directors, websites hosted by other individuals and then
when the directors have left and fallen out with the remaining
management everything gets left in abeyance resulting in two of their
web-domains now owned by people who are attacking the Company.....

His web site is still down, what happened? Is there any backup
