Hi Kent,

The development of the new Table widget is almost finished. All the main features (model-view-controller, renderers, meta-columns, column reordering, column hiding and cell editing) already work.

But there are still some performance issues. The table is kind of usable, but it's too slow to say using is fun (espacially in IE). Also there is the bug in QxDockLayout that makes flex not working in a QxHorizontalBoxLayout (See my mail from 03/14/2006). As Sebastian said, this will be fixed in the next rework of the layout engine.

I'll make the code available after some rework of qooxdoo basics is done by 1&1, which should be the case soon (about one or two weeks).
