Right now you can only listen to the native event
window.addEventListener(
"orientationchange", handler
);
We will add an orientationchange handler to qooxdoo very soon.
- setup a page and allow scrolling it's content
You can use the qx.ui.container.Scroll container and add your content to it.
The scroll container supports touch scrolling
- how to handle a selectBox so it acts on tap-events and thereby interrupt the
default behavior
Tested select boxes with the newest trunk version of qooxdoo. Should work with
tabs.

(if any) and a couple of other iOS related things. I also couldn't find a
uncompressed demo to learn something from the code.
