Exactly. You can check out any path *within* the repository, even a single file. To see which contribs are available, you can use the 'svn list' command, e.g. svn list https://qooxdoo-contrib.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/qooxdoo-contrib/trunk/qooxdoo-contrib But checking out is really for people that want to develop contribs. Downloading is enough for those that just want to use them.
