Ive done several interesting automation test projects several months ago and I 
would say it’s totally possible and would be straightforward to accomplish. I 
would also say that in a production environment (opinion following) Graphic 
Converter combined with OS X file system for auto bulk processing images is 
solid match within a workflow, capable of applying image adjustments in a 
procedural way rather than GUI, and then outputting to any folder being 
“watched” by quartz composer, which is integrated within your patch.
