Regarding the Deprecation Warning, see http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?26064 A quick look at the 1.3.3 source suggests that the issue still remains. Regarding the Warning about Version differences, you should be able to hide that by modifying the level of verbosity. Based on http://www.nongnu.org/rdiff-backup/FAQ.html#verbosity you might want to go with -v1, once you are confidant in the backup working properly. // Andreas
