Tracy Lawrence's Sticks and Stones Stew
1 pound beef, cubed
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
6 carrots, chopped
3 tsp. salt
3 tsp. black pepper
1 regular can green peas
¼ cup flour
2 quarts water
1 can beef stock
 
Brown beef in a skillet; remove beef and add flour slowly to grease from meat.
Brown the flour and add approximately ½ cup of water, stirring occasionally to 
prevent lumps.
Pour flour mixture into large pot.
Add browned beef, onions, celery, salt, pepper, water and beef broth
Simmer for 30 minutes.
