: Microwave BOILED POTATOES 6 medium potatoes, sliced, pared, and cut lengthwise 1 cup water 1 tablespoon white vinegar Place potatoes in a 2 quart baking dish. Add water and sprinkle vinegar on top of potatoes. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook on HIGH 8 minutes. Turn potatoes over and cook on HIGH 8 minutes more. Mash, or serve whole with melted butter or parsley. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serves 6
