Peach Loaf

<WBR><WBR><WBR>3 cup peaches -- pared and 
cup sugar
2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking  powder
teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup sugar
cup butter
2  eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans -- finely chopped

Place  peaches and sugar in blender and process until pureed (about 2 1/4
cups).  Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set
aside.  Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar and butter and cream well. Add eggs and
mix. Add  peach puree and dry ingredients, mixing just until moist. Stir in
nuts and  vanilla. Spoon into 2 buttered and floured loaf pans. Bake at 325
degrees for  60 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes in pan and then turn out  on
rack.
