This is a problem that has plaqued me now for months...and I can't seem
to find out what the problem is. I have a Micro Computer Concepts
converted GE Mastr Exec II UHF repeater the built in RC100 controller. I
also have a TM-G707 as a remote base. The problem I have is that
sometimes the "repeated" audio disappears, but the audio will still pass
thru the remote base port. This may go on for just hours or days....but
the "repeated" audio will come back. I can go and cycle the power on and
off...and it fixes it, for awhile.

I have cleaned connections, I have changed out the exciter, I have
changed out the op. amp chip on the controller.

I have NOT changed out C4 nor R9, which is in that line (with the except
it also ties into the remote base tx line...that is not having problems).
I have also not changed out the op amp on the drop in board that MCC put
in. It seems to control the custon front volume and squelch panel...but
I am not sure if that would be the problem.

I have a 800mhz trunked antenna that got put REAL close to the repeater
antenna. If that causes it to blank out, I don't know (also have a LARGE
DCI intermod filter)...but what componet would be going bad?

Ideas?
Thanks,
Robert
