Composition -> Change Composition Duration > although it would be quicker for someone who already knows the code to do > it. I do appreciate that you are close to the 1.0 release; would you accept > such a change at this stage? No, I'm afraid we would not. We're already in the feature freeze leading up to the release, and we are focusing exclusively on fixing bugs at this point. For after, I'm not sure what everyone else would have to say about this. The concensus among our users is very emphatically in favor of seeing the current behavior die a horrible death. (Including me, although I have gradually come to terms with it, and my feelings are not as strong as they used to be.) The core developers have been largely reticent on this issue, and I sense a certain evasiveness that tells me it's probably extraordinarily non-trivial to change this behavior. I haven't looked into the matter myself, and have no opinion on the code side. -- Michael McIntyre ---- Silvan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Linux fanatic, and certified Geek; registered Linux user #243621 http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Rue/5407/ http://rosegarden.sourceforge.net/tutorial/ ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink & Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285 _______________________________________________ Rosegarden-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] - use the link below to unsubscribe https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/rosegarden-devel
