We don't yet, and likely never will have percussion notation.  There was a 
time when I had a good bit of enthusiasm for the idea, but it became apparent 
very quickly that percussion notation is just too big of a subject for me to 
take on.  We don't just need an expert consultant, but an expert consultant 
who is willing to take on a large amount of the design and coding work as 
well.

Seeing what you've done with that export feature ought to be quite 
interesting.

There is _always_ polishing to do.

I'll see what I can do with it, starting by having a look at the patch.  I'll 
try to get something done today, and I sincerely hope I don't have to leave
