I noticed that you tweaked this, which is why I went looking to see how the 
cursor was behaving in the Linux branch, and why I mentioned the whole thing 
in the release note.

I just figured I'd release it in its original state one time and see how it 
went over.  If nobody complains, using a 50 ms timer really does bring about a 
dramatic reduction in CPU usage.  If people do complain, there's room to play 
with it.

I don't have strong opinions about much of anything anymore, nor do I have big 
visions for the future.  I'm just here.
