Please excuse my lack of understanding on how this works.  

I am wondering, where Ubuntu finally (after 3 months) applied the patch
to Rosegarden, if that means that an update will be coming out with that
fix to level 12.04, or would I get it if I re-installed Rosegarden under
one of the Ubuntu variants?  Or will it just be something that appears
in Ubuntu 12.10 (or later)?
