   Yes, there will be an update to Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise) that will 
include this one patch for Rosegarden bug #1331.  The fix will appear 
via the update manager.

   It should eventually make it to the variants (like lubuntu 12.04). 
But I have no idea how long that will take.  Re-installing should not be 
necessary, I'm guessing.  Just an update via the update manager.

   Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal) will have Rosegarden 12.04 which already has 
this patch.  The 12.10 Ubuntu variants will have Rosegarden 12.04 also.
