I use the 13139 for some time now and don't see any showstopper. I only use the matrix and drum editor. There is a strange crash when I try to change a track with a hexter synth plugin to a fluidsynth plugin but this can be fixed by deleting hexter from this track/instrument, saving the .rg file, restart and load fluidsynth, so I didn't file a bug report yet. More important *for* *me* are the 2 latency compensation bugs but I don't think they are showstoppers. So I don't see any reason against a new release.
